Группа основана в 1964 году как The Premiers.
В 1966 году название поменяли на The Human Beingz.
В 1967 году музыканты заключили контракт с фирмой Capitol. Название группы ошибочно указано как The Human Beinz.
В 1968 году вышел дебютный альбом группы «Nobody But Me».
В том же году Capitol издала второй альбом группы «Evolutions».
В марте 1969 года группа распалась.

SRC
(The Scott Richardson Case)

SRC (аббревиатура от Scott Richard Case) основана в Детройте  в конце 1960-х. В ее состав вошли Скотт Ричардсон (вокал), Стив Лайман (гитара), Гари Куэкенбуш (гитара), Гленн Куэкенбуш (клавишные), Робин Дэйл (бас) и И. Г. Клоусон (ударные).
Дебютный альбом «SRC» издала в 1969 году фирма Capitol.
 В марте 1969 года вышел второй альбом «Milestones». К этому времени Стив Лайман покинул группу, а  Робина Дэйла заменил Аль Вилмот.
Перед записью следующего альбома «Traveler's Tale» Гари Куэкенбуш заменил Рей Гудмен.
Спустя некоторое время группа распалась.
